It's Like a Jungle in this Habitat

WOW.

But really,

it was my first cruise, and I’m now completely obsessed. I’d really, really love to work on one in the near future.

Basically:

3 days at sea = towel animals, food, new friends, Bingo, karaoke, dancing waiters, global crew, more food, gambling, clubbing, more gambling, more food. Fun anecdotes of those 3 days: actually getting the wad of $25 in the coin dozer machine with my new friends, splitting the money 4 ways, and turning $6 into $25 in blackjack. And on the first day, sitting in the audience for “Game Show” night and getting a medal FROM SITTING IN THE AUDIENCE because I randomly knew a really, really hard question that they normally skip haha :)

PUERTO VALLARTA = Hot, sweaty mess. Taxi ride all over the place with Caesar. Dad scoring “Tattoo” in front of my eyes (not tattoo) ahhhhhh hahah laughing just thinking about it. Iguana. Tequila factory. Beach peddlers. Did I mention it was HOT?!

MATZATLAN  = free booze allllllllllll day. I have a new appreciation for ice blended alcholic beverages. Mexican Mango daiquiris are the shit. Sunburn 1.

CABO SAN LUCAS = GORGEOUSSSSS. More beach peddlers. Mango Deck. Free 30 minute aroma therapy massage at SpaRitual. More “Tattoo.” Sunburn 2.

Another Day at sea = it’s kind of a blur…some illegal stuff may or may not have taken place, and my friends and I may or may not have climbed up this crazy high ramp on the 15 or 16th deck…in 80mph winds.

I still kiiiinda feel like i’m on a boat. Towards the end of the trip we were going through hurricane warnings, so it constantly felt like we were all drunk. 

I want to go back :(

today I auditioned for 2 new shows at Disneyland, Disney Channel Rocks!/Disney Dance Crew, and got to stay for the dance callback!

Funny enough, I found this audition on twitter because i’m following disneyauditions. Anywho, I was stoked about it because it will be replacing High School Musical…which they have not had auditions for the past 2 years. HSM3 Vocalists was my first disneyland audition, and I made it through nearly the entire day of callbacks (10am-5pm) which was one of the most fun callbacks I’d ever been to. Now, I tried not to get my hopes up about this audition because just because casting calls you back once…doesn’t mean they’ll necessarily give you a callback again. That being said, once I WAS calledback I did feel pretty confident because I OWNED the HSM dance 2 years ago. Well, this callback was NOTHING like HSM.

I had no idea that the 2 shows were connected. I figured that one was for singers and one was for dancers…but nope, I was wrong. In fact, in walks in Tessandra Chavez (Choreographed “If I was a Boy” on SYTYCD this season as well as the very first group number) who gets down to business reaaaaal quick.

My body and mind pretty much shut down on me, which hasn’t happened in a dance audition in a really long time (especially not a hip hop one) but there was so much technicality that my body was just too rusty to handle. It was an amazing experience, though, and they said they’re still shaping up the show in regards to the extent that singers will dance and vise versa. Final callbacks are in a couple of weeks, so I guess I’ll see.

In any case, my body hurts soooooo much but I’m so glad I got to experience that today. 

it’s better to reply with a “no” rather then not reply at all.

this is why texting drives me insane sometimes. someone will be texting back and forth, and then you ask a simple yes or no question…and then they don’t respond for hours, if at all.

i’m not okay with this when it’s a chronic issue.
